I’ve looked up to you … pretty much my entire life, as our personalities were compared to be similar - maarte, tahimik, masipiag, walang bahala. I’ve always viewed you as the cool older sibling that I never had … even though you’re the baby of the longest cousin chain. ever. everyone had their doubts and insecurities about your success. but you made it, you proved them wrong, you’re a doctor.

If you can do this, then I definitely can do this.

I’ve currently been in a musical funk. From seeing Anything Goes, Ashley Brown at Christmas Eve’s eve to Hair and now counting down the days until How to Succeed in Business Without Trying and Lion King (… ohmygod, still can’t believe that one) in the next two weeks. I don’t know what songs are making the top charts, and I really don’t care. The talent on these stages are far ahead of anything that’s on the radio.

And now this show, just adding even more to this situation. This will be the new glee for me, Imma call it now.

I do admit … this is becoming a problem. Yet, I’m completely okay with it. =)

sacrifice. i knew my hopes for my future entailed a lot of sacrifice. but i guess i didn’t realize how intense these sacrifices were going to be. i hope i put enough work into this to make really worth it.

i have to remember that i cannot compare myself to everyone else around me. my situation is different, my future will play out differently.
